The Super Eagles chartered aircraft has not been granted permission to fly out of Libya, according to the latest reports out of the North African country.
Also, the Libyans have refused to sell aviation fuel to the plane.
This comes as the various European clubs of the players have been contacting them to return to their bases.
The squad are still at the Al-Abraq Airport and so the players cannot travel to Benghazy or Tripoli as there is no security escort.
The team have resolved not to play tomorrow’s 2025 AFCON qualifier in Benina, near Benghazy, after the ordeal they have undergone since Sunday afternoon at the hands of Libyan authorities.
