One of the most experienced players of the Super Eagles Moses Simon has assured the team are mentally and physically prepared when they battle Libya Tuesday night in Benina.
The Super Eagles won a closely-fought 2025 AFCON qualifier in Uyo Friday and both teams clash again Tuesday in North Africa.
“They will come out to win, that’s good and we’re well prepared for that,” the FC Nantes forward said.
“We are mentally ready for them.”
In Uyo, Libya held out until four minutes from time before Fisayo Dele-Bashiru finally broke the deadlock.
Moses Simon said winning the three points at stake was most important.
“It was a difficult game and we were prepared for this, but the most important thing was that we won,” he said.
Victory for Nigeria on the road will virtually guarantee AFCON qualification.
