Galatasaray are working round the clock to ensure Victor Osimhen is fit for the Istanbul Derby against Besiktas.
The Derby is fixed for October 28.
The striker has been training separately from the rest of the squad as he pushes to regain full fitness.
Osimhen suffered a muscle injury last month while in action against Kasimpasa in a Turkish Super Lig game.
The injury kept him out of a UEFA Europa League tie at Latvian club Rigas FS and he also missed the league game against Alanyaspor.
He was also left out of the Super Eagles 2025 AFCON qualifying double-header against Libya this month.
