Flying Eagles striker Charles Agada will undergo a scan to determine the severity of an ankle injury he suffered playing in a test game, officials told SCORENigeria
Agada was forced out of friendly in the first half against Legacy Academy after he injured his left ankle Saturday.
“The scan will be within 72 hours when the swelling around the affected area has subsided,” an official said.
“But already there are encouraging signs that he will shake off this injury contrary to what was initially feared.
“He’s an important player of the team.”
The bulky striker can now walk without a limp, it was further gathered.
The Flying Eagles will change training camps from Abuja to Ikenne this week as they step up their build-up for the WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifiers in Togo, which begins October 17.
