Following an eye-catching performance in a UEFA Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk, Ademola Lookman has been elated by the overall display of his club Atalanta.
The winger was named Man Of the Match after a “near-perfect” performance against Shakhtar Donetsk in a 3-0 win as he grabbed a goal and an assist in the process.
“It wasn’t my best performance, but it was essential to take the three points after the 0-0 draw with Arsenal,” he said.
“In Europe, we have a plus, we are on another level. An excellent team performance seasoned with personal happiness for the goal.
“In the league, we had some dips, but we are growing and becoming stronger. Every challenge is important, we want to do our best in both competitions because Serie A is like the Champions League”.
