An old interview he granted about his experience to skit maker, Isbae U, where he spoke about his experience in prison, surfaced online amid the prison saga.

In the recording, Bobrisky stated that he was kept at the female Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC) custody, however, when he moved to the correctional centre, he was kept at the male prison.
