Libya appoint new coach for Super Eagles 2025 AFCON double-header

Libya have appointed a new coach, Nasser Al-Hadiri, for next month’s 2025 AFCON qualifiers against the Super Eagles.

Al-Hadiri was assistant to Spanish coach Javier Clemente, who was in charge of Libya in 2014.

They are bottom of Group D with a point after two rounds of matches.

They take on the Super Eagles in Uyo on October 11, before they welcome the three-time African champions in Benina, near Benghazy, four days later.
