Remo Stars today shot to the top of the standings in the NPFL after a 2-0 win at Kano Pillars.
Remo Stars saw off hosts Kano Pillars with goals by Sodiq Ismail and Franck Mawuena.
Remo Stars are thus the new leaders in the NPFL with nine points from their first three matches.
Niger Tornadoes also won 2-1 away from home at Plateau United in continuation of the NPFL.
There was also no home comfort for Sunshine Stars and Heartland FC after they could only draw in front of their fans.
Sunshine Stars were held to a scoreless draw by Abia Warriors, while visiting Katsina United pegged back Heartland also to a 0-0 draw.
Heartland under coach Emmanuel Amuneke are yet to win after three rouds of matches.
