Even at the ripe old age of 35 and not fully fit, Anthony Nwakaeme proved to be the spark for Trabzonspor to fight back from two goals down to salvage a draw at home with Kayserispor.
Nwakaeme, back in Turkey this season after a brief stint in Saudi Arabia, missed his team’s first four games due to injury.
He was brought on in the second half as the home team had to peg back the visitors with two late goals to draw 2-2.
Nwakaeme provided the assist for the stoppage time equaliser.
He is now most likely to start Monday’s league clash against Gaziantep SK.
