NPFL stars will this week be called up by new Flying Eagles coach Aliyu Zubairu, who is expected to extend invitation to several key players used by his predecessor Ladan Bosso.
Daniel Bamayi, who captained Nigeria to last year’s U20 World Cup in Argentina, will lead Simon Daniel and Rabiu Abdullahi from Bayelsa United.
Rabiu Abdullahi salvaged a point for hosts Bayelsa United at Sunday’s NPFL clash against Kano Pillars.
Highly-rated defensive midfielder Daniel Daga will return to the Flying Eagles.
Last season, he featured for Enyimba in the NPFL.
He will join up with Norwegian club Molde in January 2025, when he clocks 18.
The Flying Eagles will feature at the WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Togo next month.
