The coach of Premier League club Brentford has given reasons why Frank Onyeka has been shipped out on loan to the Bundesliga.
The Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka left Brentford during the just-concluded summer transfer window, and his Danish coach has revealed it was due to lack of playing time.
“Frank wants to play week in, week out as a starter; this is a good opportunity for him to do that,” said Thomas Frank.
“He has been a big part of our success, and I can’t praise him enough for that in every aspect.”
Since joining ‘The Bees’ three years ago, Onyeka has struggled to be a mainstay in midfield for the Premier League side, which has now forced a move to German side Augsburg on loan.
