SCORENigeria Top 5: Super Sub Gift Orban steals the show

This weekend saw the resurgence of Gift Orban in France at a time his future was very much up in the air, while Super Eagles stars Moses Simon, Josh Maja and Chidozie Awaziem showed class at their respective clubs.

The one-cap Super Eagles striker extended his fine early season form by contributing the assist to the winner for West Bromwich Albion to pip Swansea. West Brom remain unbeaten after four rounds of matches in the English Championship. They are second in the standings with 10 points, two points behind early pace setters Sunderland, who enjoy a perfect start to the new campaign.

He put FC Nantes in front again at Montpellier when he converted a penalty as his club went on to win 3-1 in the French Ligue 1. He remains invaluable for ‘The Canaries’ and his coach Antoine Koumbouare is not shy to say that keeping the experienced winger is one of the best decisions taken by FC Nantes.
