Falconets midfielder Princess Yina Adoo has been named the official player of the match against Korea by FIFA.
Adoo was enterprising in the midfield as Nigeria got off to a winning start against the highly-rated Koreans.
She is a 19-year-old central midfielder for top club Nasarawa Amazons, who weighs in with a fair share of goals.
She featured at the Africa Games in Ghana earlier this year when the Falconets lost to the host nation in the Gold medal final.
