Sky Sports: Saudi Arabian club break the bank for Osimhen

Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli have made a ground-breaking offer to Victor Osimhen – 30 Million Euros-a-year for the next four years.

According to Sky Sports Transfer Expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Jeddah club, who are in the Saudi Sovereign Fund, have also tabled a bid of 65 Million Euros to Napoli.

However, Napoli want at least 80 Million Euros.

Osimhen, 25, is a now more open to the transfer to the oil-rich kingdom, according to the latest report.

But the striker will insist on a release clause inserted on the Al Ahli contract that will allow him to return to Europe.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the next few days with chieftains of the Saudi club due to storm Italy shortly.

The transfer window in Saudi Arabia closes on October 6, while that of Europe is up by Friday midnight.

All these are coming after a “low” offer by Chelsea for the player, but the Saudi deal will take centre stage when that of the Premier League club collapses.
