Antonio Nusa has said he is delighted to score on his Bundesliga debut for RB Liepzig.
The former Club Brugge star, whose father is Nigerian, was on target against VfL Bochum Saturday.
Leipzig played a difficult game and had to complete the final phase with ten men after defender Willi Orban was shown a red card.
“I’m very happy with the win,” Nusa said after the match. “It was a difficult game, so I’m just happy that we got three points at the start of the season.”
Last week in the German Cup, Nusa also scored within two minutes of coming on the pitch.
Nusa did not expect him to pull that trick again. “I did not think about scoring so quickly again. What was important was that I could help the team after I came on and did my job.”
