NFF technical committee meeting begins with Manu Garba grilling

The much-anticipated NFF technical committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Abuja and as first reported by SCORENigeria will begin with a grilling of newly-appointed Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba.

The meeting will begin by 11am, officials informed SCORENigeria.

Manu will brief the committee on his plans for the U17s leading to the U17 AFCON qualifiers in Ghana next month despite the short preparation time.

It was further gathered that he has been given the chance to recommend as assistant while the other backroom staff will be engaged by the football federation.

However, the real business of the day will be the finalising on the appointment of a new coach for the Super Eagles.

The immediate task of the new coach will be the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June against South Africa and Benin.
