The NFF can be rest assured Pep Guardiola’s long-term assistant, Domenec Torrent, will not be asking for the world when he is appointed as the next coach of the Super Eagles.
This assurance is coming from one of the representatives of Torrent.
He told SCORENigeria that despite his awesome pedigree, Torrent believes in the Nigerian project and he will be willing to make the necessary sacrifices for the NFF to afford him.
“This is a good project with so much potential that we’re ready to be realistic in our expectations,” he said.
The 61-year-old Torrent boasts an awesome track record as the long-term No 2 man to Pep Guardiola, who is widely regarded as the best coach in the world.
He was Pep’s assistant for 11 years.
The NFF have put a ceiling of $80,000-month salary for the new Super Eagles coach.
