Nigerian comedian and filmmaker Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, took to Instagram to celebrate the birthday of his sister-in-law, Joy Makun, with a heartfelt message that has captured the hearts of many.
In his post, AY praised his brother Lanre Makun’s wife for her resilience and strength.

The comedian shared a fun video of himself and the mum of three that has since captured the hearts of many fans.
Alongside the video, AY penned a touching caption that hinted at the amazing character of the celebrant.
AY’s message quickly drew attention across social media platforms, with many joining in the celebration to praise May Edochie’s grace.

This was after Nigerians woke up to a controversial clip of the comedian and businesswoman, as it made the rounds on social media.
It is no news that AY and May Edochie recently collaborated on a film project called “The Waiter,” which they have aggressively promoted on and off social media.
They had travelled to London in a PJ to promote the film, and their posts went viral. However, the identical post resurfaced on social media with a twist this time.

Although comedian AY addressed the issue and blamed his fans for trying to ruin his collaboration, blogger Cutie_juls thinks otherwise.
Cutie claimed that AY created the controversial footage to promote his movie, The Waiter. She criticised AY’s actions and tagged it as an act of”mumuism”.
