Social media critic Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, found himself involved in another drama after a man reached out to him for help, claiming to have been defrauded by a Nigerian pastor based in Turkey.
In a video shared on Friday, September 19, VeryDarkMan explained how the man contacted Pastor Nonso Okafor of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) “Harvest Center” in Turkey to partner with him in shipping goods (doors) to Nigeria.
According to their agreement, the man and the pastor, who is also a businessman, were to split the payment for the shipping from Turkey to Nigeria.
VeryDarkMan revealed that the man fulfilled his part of the agreement, but did not receive his goods when they arrived in Nigeria.
The man, who was based in Turkey at the time his goods were shipped, visited the pastor after waiting in vain to make his grievance known.
However, VeryDarkMan disclosed that the man was deported to Nigeria after the pastor reported him to the Turkish police.
Months after his deportation to Nigeria, the man still had not received his goods or a refund from the pastor.
“How this Redeemed Church pastor, Pastor Nonso Okafor, defrauded a man and had him deported from Turkey back to Nigeria, leaving him hopeless… why are people so evil in this world, why?” VeryDarkMan wrote in a caption. “Dear Pastor Okafor of Redeemed Christian Church of God ‘Harvest Center’, you have ruined the life of this man already. They have deported him as you wished, and now I am begging you to deliver his container carrying those doors so he can rebuild his life again. It has been over 2 years, almost 3 years now. Please, Pastor Nonso Okafor @rccg_pr, do the needful.”

“Something is not adding up VDM. I will want to believe you are holding back some info though if not, What’s the value of 73doors for Mr John to spend (N5.5m + N200k plus + $2859 + 56turkish money) just for importation and clearing. I’m sure the doors don’t worth the amount above.”
