Ademola Lookman has been held down by Atalanta, but he would have been great for both Inter Milan and Napoli had he transferred this summer.
Former Atalanta and Napoli star Carmine Gautieri said Ademola Lookman is a special talent and he would have added value to either Napoli or Inter Milan had he moved this past transfer window.
The Super Eagles forward had agreed personal terms with Inter, while Napoli were also interested in signing him.
“A player like Lookman would be useful to anyone,” he said
“he has different qualities from the others; he doesn’t provide reference points, he beats his man, and he creates superiority.
“He’s the winger everyone would love to have and who can make the difference in any team.
“He would have made an incredible contribution to Napoli, raising the bar in an already strong squad competing in multiple competitions.
“He would have fitted well into a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1, because he likes to start from the left and cut inside.
“He’s a phenomenal player, capable of shifting the balance of power like the greats like Real Madrid, Manchester City or Barcelona.”
