Benjamin Fredrick will start ahead of Ekong in central defence along with Calvin Bassey, while Ademola Lookman will play alongside Victor Osimhen in attack.
Fredrick shone at the Unity Cup in London in May.
Wilfred Ndidi will therefore lead the team to day and he will also fresh energy in midfield provided by a hard-running Frank Onyeka.
