Former African Player of the Year and Chelsea star Didier Drogba has stormed Italy on behalf of CAF to support the interest of Ademola Lookman in the stalled transfer from Atalanta to Inter Milan.
Tuttomercato reported Drogba’s involvement in Ademola Lookman’s potential transfer to Inter.
Ademola Lookman is the reigning African Player of the Year.
Lookman has also submitted a 50-page petition to Atalanta requesting authorization for a transfer to Inter.
The petition demands a ‘fair and transparent’ transfer process.
The transfer is currently on hold after Atalanta twice rejected offers by Inter Milan for the player.
