Arsenal are set to make a formal offer for Ademola Lookman, which could meet the asking price of his club Atalanta.
According to 90 Minutes, the London Gunners will offer 44 million pounds for the Super Eagles forward, which is more than 59 million euros and very much in keeping with Atalanta valuation of the player of between 50 and 60 million euros.
Added advantage for Arsenal is that Atalanta do not wish to sell the player to a local rival like Inter Milan.
A transfer to Arsenal will also mean a return home for the versatile forward as he was born in London.
Inter Milan have an agreement with Ademola Lookman on a five-year contract, but they are yet to agree with Atalanta on a transfer fee.
This has forced Ademola Lookman to stay away from training and seek refuge at a holiday resort between Spain and Portugal.
