The transfer standoff between Ademola Lookman and Atalanta has taken a new dimension after the player reportedly flew out of Italy.
Italian journalist Nebuloni reported that the player has left his home in Bergamo and most likely left Italy.
The Super Eagles forward has not communicated his destination to Atalanta.
It is believed that he has retired to a more peaceful place to recover from a calf injury.
Ademola Lookman has missed two trainings this week and should he not be at training later today, Atalanta can withhold his salary based on the labour laws in Italy.
Atalanta are resigned to losing the player, but they will be the one to decide his next transfer.
