A screenshot from a throwback video of late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad emerged online showing injuries he incurred after being attacked.
This came after Nigerian critic, VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, responded to those who have been attacking him over Naira Marley.

They have stated that VDM has allegedly been paid to ignore the music executive and his associate, Sam Larry’s role in the controversial situation. This also comes on the tail of Iyabo Ojo’s alleged claims about the Soapy hitmaker.
Finally, VDM decided to speak on it and asked if anyone has video evidence of Naira bullying Mohbad before his death.
The audacious activist promised to reward such a person with the sum of N20 million. Nonetheless, he advised netizens to desist from bearing false witness

Shortly after VDM’s bold offer, a screenshot from the late singer’s video showed injuries on his body after some group of young men allegedly sent from Naira Marley beat him up.
TheTalk.NG recalls reporting that Mohbad issued a lengthy statement on X (formerly known as Twitter) narrating how Naira Marley arranged boys to beat up because he wanted to change his manager.
According to him, he visited Naira’s house with two friends to settle the manager issue amicably but they were attacked to the point of checking into a hospital. Mohbad also made sure to note that Naira Marley coordinated some of the attacks on him, was present when his gang beat him and his friends up and even instructed them from the beginning.
Also, in 2023, Mohbad’s close friend and colleague Bella Shmurda amidst news of Mohbad’s estranged relationship with Naira Marley, revealed in an interview that the deceased attempted killing himself at some point. Recounting the incident, he said the singer’s girlfriend walked in on him sitting on the window in an attempt to jump off.
Bella went on to reveal that despite this and the singer even suffering from hypertension, the label maintained that nothing was going on.
