Media personality Geh Geh recently stirred conversation on Instagram after boldly declaring Davido’s album, 5ive, as the best of 2025, regardless of fan preference.
In a video shared on Tuesday, July 29, Geh Geh emphasised that while Wizkid and Burna Boy have both dropped albums, Davido still stands out as the clear leader in terms of impact, replay value, and hit songs.

Geh Geh urged music lovers to put aside emotional bias and analyse the albums based on facts.
According to him, Wizkid’s “Morayo” album may have replay value but lacks any standout hit track. He challenged fans to objectively identify a major hit from Wizkid’s project that rivals the top-charting singles of the year.
As for Burna Boy, Geh Geh criticised the album for prioritising controversy and clout-chasing over musical depth.
He pointed out that two tracks on Burna’s album were diss records: “No Sign of Weakness” aimed at Davido and Dem Dey targeting Sophia Egbueje. According to Geh Geh, this took away from the substance of the project and left fans disappointed, stating that the album is one of Burna Boy’s weakest so far.
Geh Geh applauds Davido’s album
In contrast, Davido’s album, he argued, contains multiple major hits that have received international acclaim. He listed With You featuring Omah Lay, which he claims is reportedly buzzing across cities like London and Manchester, along with Awuke, Funds featuring The Odumodublvck and Chike, and so on.
