Upcoming actress and influencer May Edochie caused a stir after she opened up on her personal challenges that saw her lose everything she had, including her businesses.
May, while addressing guests who attended her beauty products launch in London on Friday, July 25, disclosed how she struggled to pay back loans from three banks.

The mother of three revealed she lost everything following an unprecedented occurrence that happened to her.
She, however, added that she was able to get back on her feet because she understood the kind of person she was.
“It was barely a few months when all the unprecedented occurrences came my way, I sat and watched everything go down the drain and it came at a time I had to repay three banks. The banks had been helping me really good, but it was unfortunate that everything happened at the same time and I lost everything. While so much was going on social media, I was battling other things a lot of people don’t know about. In the midst of these, I still had to pay three banks loan, interests were piling. Like I said I had lost all my businesses, goods expired in my stores, everything went down. But because I believe in myself and I know what I am made of, I said no I am not going to be at the mercy of anyone,” she said.
While May didn’t shed light on the occurrence, netizens have linked it to her estranged marriage with Yul.

May Edochie advised to drop Yul’s name
Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG reported that actor Uche Maduagwu advised May Edochie to learn from Megan Kerrigan, the wife of Astronomer CEO Andy Byro.
This comes after reports emerged that Kerrigan dropped Andy’s surname from her Facebook profile following his loved-up video with his company’s Chief Public Officer, Kristen Cabot, at a Coldplay concert.
Maduagwu also shared reasons May Edochie had not followed the same path as Andy Byron’s wife.
