African champions Super Falcons have taken their case of unpaid allowances and bonuses to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), officials told SCORENigeria
It was further learnt that the international players’ union FIFPro took this matter of outstanding payments that go back as far as 2021 on behalf of the 10-time African champions.
Prior to the kick-off of the 2024 WAFCON, the NFF refused to comment on whether or not they were owing the Super Falcons.
In recent days, there were reports that President Bola Tinubu has ordered that these outstanding monies be paid the women’s national team.
