The second launch of Big Brother Naija Season 10, aptly dubbed “10/10,” took place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, as host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu introduced the male housemates.
TheTalk.NG recalls reporting that fifteen female housemates were introduced at the first launch on Saturday, July 26, promising drama, relationship and more.
The organisers had announced a ‘double launch’ format, with the male housemates to be introduced on Sunday.
After the second launch, the housemates will be left to compete for the grand prize of N150 million worth of gifts over the next 71 days.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu reimagines Sweet Mother singer’s attire
The media personality again caused a buzz with his attire at the second launch as he reimagined an outfit inspired by Sweet Mother singer Prince Nico Mbarga.
Ebuka also posed for the camera in a similar style to that of Mbarga and his band.
What to know about Prince Nico Mbarga
Nico Mbarga was a Cameroonian-Nigerian highlife musician, born to a Nigerian mother from Mbembe Obubra LGA, Cross River State, and a Cameroonian father in Abakaliki, Nigeria.
He was renowned for his hit song “Sweet Mother,” recorded with his band Rocafil Jazz, which is considered one of the best-selling songs in history by an African recording artist.
Mbarga died in June 1997 at the age of 47.
Sharing pictures of him rocking an attire inspired by Nico Mbarga, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu wrote,
“BBNaija 10/10 launch night 2 Inspired by the iconic Prince Nico Mbarga, singer of one of the highest selling singles ever by an African artiste, ‘Sweet Mother.”

The attire quickly went viral, gainning attention from fans, who applauded Ebuka.
