Victor Osimhen has been crowned Goal King of Turkey two years after he achieved the same feat in Italy, while Cyriel Dessers and Samuel Chukwueze caught the eye as the Super Eagles again won the Unity Cup at the expense of Jamaica.
5.Ibrahim Olawoyin
The forward netted his sixth goal of the season for Rizespor to beat Hatayspor 5-2 on the final day of the season in Turkey. His season tally though was two goals shy of what he achieved the previous season. His team finished a decent ninth in the Super Lig standings.
4.Rasheed Akanbi
The striker scored twice for FC Sheriff to win the Moldovan Cup final 2-1 against Milsanmi. It was a pulsating end to the cup final as Akanbi put his club ahead in the 85th minute only for Milsanmi to draw level five minutes later. The Nigerian striker then struck the cup winner in stoppage time. Milsanmi though will upset Sheriff to win the Moldovan league days later after both teams could only draw in the final game of the championship playoffs.
3.Cyriel Dessers
The Rangers striker racked up the best numbers for the Super Eagles at the 2025 Unity Cup with a goal and an assist in two matches. He opened scoring in the 2-1 win over Ghana in the Jollof Derby, before he set up captain Moses Simon for the opening goal in the final against Jamaica. Dessers has moved ahead of several strikers in the pecking order to now even be considered as a capable deputy for Victor Osimhen.

2.Samuel Chukwueze
He was simply unplayable in a free role as the Super Eagles went on to beat the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica in the final of the Unity Cup in West London. He was in the heart of the Super Eagles attack and crowned a five-star display with a fine goal. This was certainly one of his better games for the Super Eagles. His quality has never been in doubt, but he has to stay consistent to be taken more seriously for both club and country.
1.Victor Osimhen
He ended his loan spell at Galatasaray by scoring his 26th goal on the final day of action against fellow Istanbul rivals Basaksehir. He was the Goal King of the Turkish Super Lig to add to his winners’ medal in the league and cup. This is his second Goal King prize after he also finished top scorer in the Italian Serie A with Napoli in the 2022-23 season. Where is his future now? Â
